This information only applies to accounts managed in Picturepark. If your Picturepark uses federated authentication, like login with your company account, you must have a working company account that only your company can give you. Try to login to find out.

  1. Open URL in the browser

  2. Select sign-up from the link or the tab menu

  3. Fill out the form

  4. Provide the captcha correctly

  5. Submit your request

If an Administrator created your account already, you have received an email asking you to sign up.

After requesting your new account, you receive an email asking you to confirm your account. Once you have confirmed your account, please log into the Picturepark.
If you have not received your confirmation link after signing up, you can click on the Resend confirmation link on the Sign-up page and enter the email you used for signed. The confirmation email will be resent. Please check your SPAM folder before doing this as your confirmation email may be there.
An Administrator will receive an email asking them to confirm your request for access. If they do so, you get an email saying your account is reviewed. If they don't, you will always see the "Account under review" message after login to Picturepark.

Administrators cannot reject users in the current version of Picturepark, so you will not receive an email should the administrator choose not to approve your account.

Note

Your organization's Picturepark administrator approves all account requests. Picturepark support (https://picturepark.com/support ) can neither create nor approve your account.

Picturepark stores all passwords encrypted using the sha256 algorithm.

Log Out of Picturepark Image Removed

Picturepark will not automatically log you out of the system. After successfully logged in, Picturepark creates a token that expires after 30 days inactivity. This functionality is common with most apps nowadays, like Facebook. Only after 30 days inactivity or maintenance, you will have to confirm your login again.
To logout from Picturepark

  1. Collapse the menu and select logout next to your profile icon

  2. Open your profile and select log out from the profile toolbar

Reset User Settings Image Removed

Change Password

Tip

You can only edit your profile if you have Picturepark configured as your default Identity Provider. Otherwise, you don't see the edit button.

Change your password directly in the user profile, using a button that opens the corresponding form.

  1. Open your profile from the main menu

  2. Click on Change Password

Change Email and Password

Picturepark uses the Picturepark IDS to house all user accounts. Using PIDS means that you can connect with the same email address to multiple Picturepark systems. Log in with the same email address and password, and Picturepark creates your account. An Administrator for that instance will need to review it, of course.

To change your Email and Password

  1. Open your profile from the main menu

  2. Click on Identity Provider profile

    1. Change your Email Address

    2. Change your password

Edit your profile information

You can only edit your profile if you have Picturepark configured as your default Identity Provider. Otherwise, you don't see the edit button.

You can access your profile from the main menu:

  1. Click on the profile icon

  2. Select edit in the user information panel

You see the following fields, which are not configurable per Picturepark. Those with an asterisk are required:

  • *First name

  • *Last name

  • *Email

    • Cannot be changed. Stored with the identity provider and must be changed there, so open your identity provider profile to change your email address accurately.

  • Language (used for messages, hints, and labels)

  • Telephone

  • Company

  • Department

  • Address

  • Country

  • Zip

  • City

Info

Federated users cannot change email, first name, last name, and the address because these attributes are automatically synchronized with the federated IdP.

Email notifications from Picturepark

You can define the interval you receive email notifications and which notifications to receive in general.

  1. Open Email notifications

  2. Press edit

  3. Change the settings

    1. Interval defines how often you receive notifications (unread notifications in Picturepark): Daily, Hourly, Quarter Hourly, or Off (never).
The daily time depends on when your Picturepark sent the first notification ever and varies.

    2. Receive all notifications can be true or false and works in combination with the except selection

      1. True ( on ) means to receive all notification, except the ones you select (e.g. not legal stuff)

      2. False ( off ) means to receive no notifications, except the ones you select (e.g. only product stuff)
